“EVS – A volunteer’s journey” is a documentary project made by a former volunteer during her voluntary service. Based on the literary concept of the “Hero’s Journey”, the documentary shows the one year experience of 4 volunteers in Faro, Portugal.

Through their personal stories and reflections we will get to know not only what an EVS is about, but also what lies beneath this adventure in a personal level, who takes part of the learning-process and how do volunteers live this life-changing experience.
